Sleep

Studies show that 6 - 8 hours of sleep is critical to function well. Quality sleep is a constant process that requires our attention. We explore sleep protocols that you can use to invest in regulating your mood and overall mental health.

light (SUN & Dark)

Our circadian clock is as innate to living as air and water. We enjoy morning and evening walks on the beach or the grounds of the Blockade Runner Resort. A few minutes a day facing East makes a difference in our mood, ability to focus and create.

Movement

Exercise and other movement that promotes heart rate increase and cardiovascular function increases longevity and life quality. Also important is mobility, stretching and overall strength. We provide the opportunity for movement, both guided and on your own time.

Nutrition

Proper nutrition is an essential ingredient to optimum functioning mind, brain and body. Our retreat features whole foods that provide variety and fit any lifestyle. In addition, we discuss supplementation and proper balances of vitamins, minerals and elements.

Wim Hof Method Fundamentals Workshop practices conscious breathing, cold therapy, and commitment to become our best selves. Other exercises teach us the power of our nervous systems and learn real time stress management and releasing protocols. In addition, we discuss mindset methods that transform our limits and expand neuroplasticity.

social connection

The discoveries we embody during the retreat allow us to share our inner strength and joy with our family, friends and greater community. We discuss the social interactions that support or vex our nervous systems and how we can implement strategies that create our best self.

Our Four Day/Three Night Retreat in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina

The Blockade Runner Resort in Wrightsville Beach, NC is located between surf and sound only 24 minutes from Wilmington International airport. Featuring The Cottage, a 13 bedroom house steps from the beach and next door to the main hotel. We enjoy access to the entire property and all its amenities. Meals are prepared in house in a group format.
